The Month of St David

11 03 2010

Visiting Wales at any time of the year is a real treat, but if you happen to be in town in March there is always a special feeling in the air. That’s because we celebrate our patron Saint, Dewi Sant on March 1st.

Daffodils, leeks and dragons are all symbols of Welsh culture, but as most of you know we love to sing as well. Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau is our national anthem, often heard in rugby stadiums across the world, but sounds great belted out by a choir.

So as always, were happy to extend our warm Welsh welcome and would love it if you came along; either with your choir as part of the competition; or as a happy spectator singing along in the crowd.

The North Wales Choral Festival will take place in Venue Cymru, Llandudno on Saturday, November 6. Take a look at the rest of the website to find out how to enter your choir or book tickets.
